2026 is speeding by, and we find ourselves in week 8 already! Can you feel the urgency of time racing past us? I had the desire to share this last week, but alas, time is relentless. Are you passionately pursuing a reading plan? Dedicating yourself to any Bible study that stirs your soul? I would love to hear about what you’re doing to pursue God this year, and any things that are igniting your heart, mind, and soul.
Here is the link to the Bible plan I’m following this year, and I’m truly enjoying it, especially since it’s a 5-day plan rather than the usual 7. This scheduling is perfect for my life—who doesn’t love a little breathing room? I hope to dive into some more in-depth studies on my 2 “off” days, though I haven’t quite started that journey yet. There’s something exciting about the idea of exploring topics in greater detail, perhaps even pulling out some commentaries and reflecting on the passages in a more profound way.
Today, Hebrews 4 was assigned, and I’m really looking forward to digging deeper into its teachings. The themes of rest and trust resonate with me, especially as life can often feel like a whirlwind! I can’t help but ponder how these messages can apply to our daily lives.
A while back, during a visit to Nashville, obviously we had to stop at McKay’s, that treasure trove of books, and I found a Strong’s Concordance. I had one many years ago, but I honestly can’t remember what happened to it—maybe it started its own adventure! Now, armed with this new resource, I feel like I’m ready to tackle some serious scripture sleuthing.
How do you approach deeper study? What are some of your favorite resources to use as study companions? I’m always on the lookout for great recommendations!
